Delicious Onion Rings With Thousand Island Dressing

1 Cup Flour

1 Cup water

1 tablespoon paprika

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1 Teaspoon turmeric powder

1 Teaspoon Oregano

1/2 Teaspoon salt

1 Tablespoon turmeric powder

3 Medium Onions (peeled)

1 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

Combine all dry ingredients and then add the water and mix together to make a thick batter.

Slice onions into 1/4 inch thick slices crosswise.

Heat the oil in a small frying pan for two minutes and turn the flames down to medium. Fry the rings for just 45 seconds turning if you see the need to, and yes they fry very fast!

My shortcut version of thousand island dressing

I think it works well for me because I made the marinade. Sorry, my dear, I do not use store-bought seasoning! Period.

Ingredients

3 Tablespoons Mayonaise

1 tablespoon blended natural seasoning. (marinade)

1 1/2 Tablespoon ketchup

1/4 Teaspoon Oregano flakes

1/2 Teaspoon Paprika

Instruction

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl and that’s it! Thousand island dressing. I love the name so much.
